I have one of the older mate zip hoodies. I like this one a lot better. There’s no weird lining on the inside that sticks out. The sleeves on this one are looser too, which I like. I kind of wish mate had hoodies with drawstrings, but there’s something sleek about no having them, so I could go either way. Can easily be worn like a cropped hoodie. My favorite hoodie in my closet!
