    MATE​ is searching for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as an Operations + Account Associate. The main duties of this job will be acting as the lead liaison for all wholesale partnerships. Must have 1-2 years of professional experience in a related role. Bachelor's degree required. Must be based in Los Angeles. Please read the skill requirements below.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Accounts 

    • Lead liaison for all wholesale partnerships; facilitates communication between Sales Team and HQ
    • Input, organize, process and manage all wholesale Purchase Orders via Quickbooks and Google Docs
    • Generates sales order reports throughout selling period and communicates information with Design and Production Team
    • Acquire shipment approvals; handles placing of additional trims required from domestic and international accounts and follows shipping instructions
    • Updates Vendor Terms as needed
    • Adheres to shipment Calendar
    • Facilitates account photo pulls 
    • Issue and process RAs
    Operations 
    • Receive, organize, and manage inventory in warehouse and Google docs
    • Manages E-commerce and wholesale inventory platforms; responsible for communicating ATS reports with Sales Team
    • Light office management; place weekly office supply orders
    • Trains interns on order fulfillment for e-commerce and wholesale orders
    Customer Care
    • Handles all Customer Care email and phone correspondence; provides an exceptional Customer experience 
    • Exceed's Customers expectations 
    • Adapts quickly to Customer requests and inquiries

    MATE is searching for a detail-oriented, dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as our Production Manager. Must have 6-8+ years of professional experience in a related role. Bachelor's degree required. Must be based in Los Angeles. Please read the responsibilities and skill requirements below.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage all production and development operations across multiple categories with brand approved factories
    • Oversee our cut/sew, dye house, screenprinting, QC Teams while maintaining a detailed WIP during product's life-cycle
    • Extensive follow up with production vendors to ensure each deadline is met
    • Cost negotiations with vendors and factories; upholding brand's preferred cost margins. Provides cost suggestions to Owner throughout supply chain
    • Monitor and communicate progress and challenges throughout the production process; always thinking ahead to prevent issues
    • Vendor sourcing as needed
    • Attention to increasing e-commerce business with executing limited capsule collection releases with quick turnaround
    • Signs off on production POs, TPs, PPs, TOPs
    • Develop policies and procedures for internal communication; work closely with Development Team and Owner to ensure productive operational flow
    • Develop brand's Terms + Conditions related to Production
    • Attend weekly Team meetings; lead production discussion
    • Work with Development team on issues pertaining to specs, and materials issues. Facilitates production protos as needed, as well as responsible for providing Team with inspected TOPs
    • Work with Operations/Sales Teams to ensure accuracy for production ordering for both wholesale and e-commerce business
    • Forecast trims and fabric needs. Purchase bulk fabric orders and execute inspection of fabric testing. Communicate with fabric vendors as needed
    • Overlook production invoices. Rectify discrepancies as needed; issue vendor charge backs under brand's terms and conditions
    • Responsible for scheduling production delivery drivers; ensures goods reflect packing lists
    • Lend input and assistance to Development Team as needed
    • Work closely with Owner on business strategy relating to operational flow and costing

    The Dress Clean internship program is focused on sustainability, transparency and education. Be immersed in our localized supply chain process, from cut + sew, dye, and screenprint factories. Assist in sustainability research, contribute to social campaigns, and present weekly ideas to the team in relation to findings. You will be responsible for spreading awareness on our Dress Clean initiative. This is an unpaid internship, for college credit.

    Dress Clean Internship - Job Responsibilities:

    • Sustainability fact pulling, copy write for social and web. ​
    • Assist in generating creative social outreach campaigns as a means to spread awareness of the Dress Clean initiative and MATE's sustainable, ethical, and environmental efforts.  (i.e. Plastic Free Week) 
    • Maintain an ongoing list and present sustainable organizations, certifications, influencers, shops and publications to align with to the team. 
    • Assist in research on new developments in sustainable standards and innovations in the industry. 

    Dress Clean Internship - Preferred Qualifications:

    • Is highly interested in and knowledgeable of sustainable apparel practices and environmental issues in the industry
    • Must be available 2-3 days/week. 3 Days is preferred. 
    • Highly organized and detail oriented, while fast and efficient
    • Critical thinker, proactive, and has a positive attitude
    • Must have a laptop and transportation
    • Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign experience a plus

    Culture + Customer Experience Internship - Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist in keeping our Arts District Showroom presentable and organized, while spreading good vibes.
    • Assist in building alignments and cultivate relationships with like-minded brands, philanthropic organizations, influencers, press, publications, and sustainable industry leaders
    • Present innovative ideas on how to improve our digital and IRL customer experience  
    • Assist in researching and developing a target event calendar - local events / pop-ups / brand alignments / women in business panels / sample sales / etc

    • Assist creative team with photo shoots and content creation
