I started working out again recently at a boot camp style class and needed some leggings! My preferences for non-toxic have changed since I was last working out and I ordered organic cotton leggings from 4 different companies. Mate was my favorite brand of the 4 I tried. I like that the pocket stitching comes to a point on the side panel. The pockets don’t gap away at all. The waist band is a nice size and hits me just where my belly button is, so I can choose whether I want to show it or not (for me not, lol). The fit holds you in without being too compressive or difficult to pull on. I tried the pebble color at first because I wanted it to be a cool gray but it was too warm toned for me. So I returned that and kept black, which is more forgiving for coverage anyway. These are pricy but so nice, and great for leisure or exercise. My waist fluctuates between 27/28 inches and my hips are 38 inches and the medium fits me perfectly.
